- Kingston loved playing play-dough with Momma & Daddy while Charlotte napped. He LOVED squishing all the different animals that I made.. best $9.00 bucket of playdough 'stuff' EVER.
- Watching K pack his 'ba-pak' (backpack) with cars and toys so he could go with daddy.
- Daddy & Kingston spending the morning doing errands; getting haircuts, driving around in the new 'cahhh', going to the Harley Davidson store (K LOVED the motorcycles), seeing (and going into) a firetruck. And of course sharing a yummy smoothie with daddy.
- Momma & Charlotte went shopping for groceries together, and she giggled and 'talked' the whole time.
- K loved having a take-out lunch with Momma & Daddy.
- Installing Charlotte's new BIG GIRL carseat in the SUV.
- After a nice long nap, going for a walk (K walked for most of the time -- only riding in the stroller up the really big hill!) around the neighbourhood and seeing police cars, Bubba got to play with a child around the corner from us.
- Kingston read stories with Momma for a loooooong time after supper while Charlotte and daddy played.
- Kingston loved jumping on the couch with Charlotte (who thought it was HILARIOUS).
- Lots of snuggles and cuddles, hugs and kisses from K.
As we put him to bed (as per usual, he took himself to his crib and said 'bed'), he gave us hugs and kisses and waved. Then he laid right down onto his pillow, snuggled Sheldon (his puppy) and blanket and that was it. Lights out. We've decided that once we get home from Vegas we will be trying the toddler bed for a few weeks, and if that works out well he will be moving into his big boy double bed! (his crib converts).
You guys have such a cute little family. People might have thought you were crazy for having two so close together, but honestly, it just works, and I think it's great. You guys have the perfect family dynamic going on. I love it! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Sophie!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine NOT having both babies. It's like -- no matter what activity or situation we take on, we both have a little one in our arms to take it on with us. We have hard days like everyone, but I know if we were to do it over again, neither of us would change a thing. We still talk about baby #3.. and you'd think having two small children would deter us... maybe we're crazy :)
